BBC Natural History- filming "Nomads of the Wind". Nomads of the Wind and the BBC TV series which it accompanies tell the epic story of the Polynesians, the tenacious ocean voyaging people who settled the Pacific.

We then sailed via the Cook Islands, Niue to Tonga , Minerva Reef and the Kermadec Islands filming a TVNZ natural history documentary about reef fish.

Thedocumentary examines the decline of reef life including crayfish, abalone but focuses on fin fish. It shows shocking footage of netted fish, the horror of hoards of destructive urchins and intimate footage of breeding and juvenile fish behaviour.
